Light switch repair and installation
A switch that sparks, gets warm, or has stopped working is a 20-minute fix in most rooms. So is replacing a wall of tired switches with matching decora devices, adding a dimmer, or sorting out a three-way pair that never worked right. Dimmers have to be matched to the bulbs or they hum and flicker, and we bring the right one rather than guessing.

Do any of these sound familiar?
Signs you need this
A switch that sparks or feels warm
A small spark as the contacts part can be normal. A visible arc, real heat, or a scorch mark is not.
A three-way pair where one cancels the other
Miswired travellers. Common in homes where someone replaced one of the pair without tracing it first.
A dimmer that hums or only works over half its range
That is the wrong dimmer for the LED load. The fix is a compatible dimmer, not new bulbs.
A switch that does nothing at all
Either the switch failed or the fixture did. Quick to isolate once we are on site.

“We had a great experience with Allsafe Electric. At the initial consult, we discussed the work we wanted done, and Jud expertly explained the options for how he could get it done clean and cost effective. He didn't try to push or upsell anything. His estimate was clear and fair, and he was flexible when we asked to reschedule the date of work. Once scheduled he showed up right on time and did clean, quality work. The work included relocating our EV charger hookup, adding a new outlet, installation of both an interior and exterior ceiling fan box, a new ethernet cable plug, and a new outlet for an induction cooktop. Professional, communicative, and easy to work with. We'd absolutely use Allsafe again and recommend Jud to anyone in the Parker area.”Read the full review

“All Safe is a fantastic electrician company. They are great communicators as to when they will arrive and work in a clean orderly fashion. They installed new lighting fixtures, replaced a broken GFI, replaced switches, repaired an outlet. They did a great job I highly recommend them.”

“We originally called Allsafe to look at adding some new lighting to our dining room and fixing some lighting issues in our bathrooms. Judd from Allsafe informed us there were concerns about our electrical service panel but could do the repairs we asked. We put the project on hold due to some urgent medical issues. About 2 months later we had an outlet in the kitchen arc and burn out. Our electrical service panel breakers didn’t trip appropriately. We called Judd back out to assess the situation. He was very thorough in evaluating what was going on with our electrical system. He found multiple issues with our ancient service panel and improper grounding throughout the house. Judd and his team replaced our electrical service panel, multiple outlets, installed new bathroom light fixtures, and installed new recessed lighting in our dining area. They found and fixed a few other minor issues along the way at no additional cost. Working with Allsafe was awesome! All the work they did looks great and we’re very happy we chose them to upgrade our electrical system.”Read the full review

“recently had AllSafe Electric come out to do some work at my place, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They replaced several outlets and updated lighting in both my closet and basement, and everything turned out great. The work was done professionally and efficiently, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Everything looks clean, works perfectly, and was completed in a timely manner. They were also easy to communicate with and showed up when they said they would, which goes a long way. I’d definitely recommend AllSafe Electric to anyone needing electrical work done. Solid, reliable service all around.”Read the full review

“Master electrician. We had a job list and he and his partner too care of fan installation, 2 dedicated electrical outlets, moving one plug in lower position. New smoke detectors because they were outdated. He went to home depot to purchase the smoke detectors I can't explain how comfortable i felt with all of this work If we were doing stars. He would get 20 not 10”Read the full review

“Judson Cushing and the AllSafe Electric team continue to impress. Judson recently installed an outlet above my pool table along with a wall switch for a new pool table light. The placement was thoughtful, the install was clean, and the finished product looks like it was always meant to be there. Functionally perfect and aesthetically spot-on. This is at least the third project AllSafe Electirc has completed for me (which includes installing an auxiliary panel, running new circuits, and troubleshooting problems). As always, Judson and Shawn were very responsive, on time, did a fantastic job in short order. They clearly take pride in their work. It is hard to find contractors who combine technical skill with real customer focus, but AllSafe Electric does. I couldn’t be happier. Judson and Allsafe Electric have absolutely and repeatedly earned my business and recognition.”Read the full review

Common questions
Can you make all my switches match?
Yes. Replacing mismatched toggles with a consistent decora set across a floor is one of the most common jobs we do, and it makes a house feel finished.
Do smart switches need a neutral wire?
Most do. Many Parker homes built after the mid-1980s have a neutral in the switch box, and older ones may not. We check before recommending a specific switch.
Why does my dimmer buzz?
The dimmer and the bulbs are not compatible. LED dimming is picky, so we carry dimmers rated for the common bulb types and swap to the right one.
One switch controls nothing. Can you remove it?
We can trace it first, because sometimes it is a switched outlet or a disconnected fixture worth restoring. Then we either make it live or safely retire it.
Where we do switches & dimmers
We handle switches & dimmers across Parker and the surrounding south metro. That includes Parker, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Centennial and The Pinery, plus every other town on our service area page. Each town page lists its own permit authority and electric utility, which genuinely differ across Douglas, Arapahoe and Elbert counties.
