Emergency electrician
If you smell burning, see sparks, or lost power to part of the house, stop and call. Same-day for urgent calls, usually within a two-hour window, weekdays 8am to 6pm. We usually answer on the first ring. A diagnostic visit is a flat fee, and if any repairs or replacements are needed, we'll give you the price in writing before we start any work.

"Emergency" gets used loosely in electrical advertising, so here is what it means with Allsafe. We are open weekdays, 8am to 6pm, and a genuinely dangerous situation, sparks, a burning smell, a hot panel, usually gets a same-day slot. If it is dangerous right now, a hot panel, a burning smell, exposed wiring, call 911 first, then us. If the problem is not immediately dangerous, a dead outlet or a breaker that trips once and resets fine, leave that area switched off, request a quote, and we will get you scheduled. When you call, one of our licensed electricians comes out, diagnoses the fault, and gives you the price in writing before any repair starts.
Do any of these sound familiar?
Signs you need this
A burning or fishy smell near an outlet or panel
That smell is hot plastic, usually insulation breaking down around a loose or overloaded connection. Turn the breaker off if you can reach it safely and call. This is not a wait-until-morning problem, and it rarely fixes itself.
Buzzing, crackling, or a warm breaker panel
A panel should be silent and cool to the touch, full stop. Noise or heat means a loose connection is arcing behind the cover, and arcing is how electrical fires start in a wall you cannot see.
Half the house has power and half does not
Usually a lost neutral or one leg of the incoming service, not a simple tripped breaker. It can push 240 volts into circuits built for 120 and damage electronics, so kill the main if you know how and call before plugging anything back in.
Scorch marks, a hot outlet, or a plug that falls out
Worn or overloaded outlets overheat internally before you ever see a spark. Stop using it, cover it so nothing gets plugged in by accident, and have it replaced rather than taped over or ignored.
Water reached wiring, a panel, or outlets
After a burst pipe, an ice dam, or a roof leak, do not re-energise anything that got wet until it has been checked. Water and old insulation is a slow-building hazard, not something that dries out and becomes safe on its own.

Our emergency repairs work

Start to finish
How the job goes
- 1
You call
We confirm your address and a two-hour arrival window, and tell you what is safe to switch off yourself while you wait.
- 2
We arrive and make it safe
A licensed electrician gets the immediate danger under control first, then traces the fault to its actual cause instead of patching the symptom.
- 3
You approve a fixed price
Before any repair work starts, you get the price in writing.
- 4
We fix it, and flag what's next
We repair what is dangerous now. If something else should be scheduled properly later, rewiring, a panel upgrade, we tell you honestly rather than upselling it on the spot.
Permits and inspection
Most emergency repairs are like-for-like and do not need a permit. If the fix turns into a panel or service replacement, we pull the permit with the Town of Parker or Douglas County and handle the inspection. Verify current requirements with your jurisdiction before scheduling non-urgent follow-up work.
Most true emergency repairs, replacing a failed breaker, reconnecting a loose neutral, are like-for-like fixes under the National Electrical Code and do not trigger a permit on their own. Douglas County and the Town of Parker do require one once a repair turns into a service or panel replacement, or new circuits get added. If your emergency uncovers a bigger problem, an undersized panel, aluminum branch wiring, we tell you before it becomes its own project, not after.
Why homeowners here call us
A trusted, licensed electrician every time
With Allsafe, a real person answers the phone, a licensed electrician shows up, and one of us stands behind the fix. That means no re-explaining the problem to a new face, no guessing whether the last visit notes made it into a system, and a fixed price you approve in person before anything starts.

“Judd was great. I called for an estimate, they came right out, game a good price, i hired them, they showed up right away, did a great job, took care of my gear and my dogs, and pleasure to work with. Allsafe installed a new 20-amp line for my stereo and installed a whole house surge protector and of course had to fix some issues with my breaker panel because my house was built recently by a homebuilder that took some short cuts.”Read the full review

“We originally called Allsafe to look at adding some new lighting to our dining room and fixing some lighting issues in our bathrooms. Judd from Allsafe informed us there were concerns about our electrical service panel but could do the repairs we asked. We put the project on hold due to some urgent medical issues. About 2 months later we had an outlet in the kitchen arc and burn out. Our electrical service panel breakers didn’t trip appropriately. We called Judd back out to assess the situation. He was very thorough in evaluating what was going on with our electrical system. He found multiple issues with our ancient service panel and improper grounding throughout the house. Judd and his team replaced our electrical service panel, multiple outlets, installed new bathroom light fixtures, and installed new recessed lighting in our dining area. They found and fixed a few other minor issues along the way at no additional cost. Working with Allsafe was awesome! All the work they did looks great and we’re very happy we chose them to upgrade our electrical system.”Read the full review

“We did not have power coming through a circuit in our garage. When I called on a Friday morning, I fully expected we would have to wait until after the weekend for an electrician to come out. But Jud was able to come diagnose the issue within just a few hours! I was very impressed, and so happy that he was also able to fix the problem very quickly. Jud was very professional, explained everything so well, and is very trustworthy.”Read the full review

“We had a great experience with Allsafe Electric. At the initial consult, we discussed the work we wanted done, and Jud expertly explained the options for how he could get it done clean and cost effective. He didn't try to push or upsell anything. His estimate was clear and fair, and he was flexible when we asked to reschedule the date of work. Once scheduled he showed up right on time and did clean, quality work. The work included relocating our EV charger hookup, adding a new outlet, installation of both an interior and exterior ceiling fan box, a new ethernet cable plug, and a new outlet for an induction cooktop. Professional, communicative, and easy to work with. We'd absolutely use Allsafe again and recommend Jud to anyone in the Parker area.”Read the full review

“Over the past couple years we have been stumbling through the repairs of construction defects. Many of those defects involved electrical. Along with new defects, we still have some old electrical that was not made up to date by the previous subcontractor. Judd and the AllSafe crew have helped navigate and make repairs as we find them. It’s been such a relief to have knowledgeable electricians help keep our family safe and regain some of our creature comforts. We appreciate knowing someone around we can count on for help. Thank you for your patients and empathy for us during all this. We really appreciates good people. Thank you. The Black Family”Read the full review

Common questions
Are you available on weekends or after hours?
We are open weekdays, 8am to 6pm. Call (303) 648-1934 for a same-day urgent slot during those hours. If it is genuinely dangerous outside our hours, sparks, fire, smoke, call 911 first.
What does an emergency visit cost?
A flat diagnostic fee. Once we trace the issue, you get the repair price in writing before anything starts, so there is never a surprise number at the end.
Should I turn the power off myself?
If you can safely reach the breaker for the affected area, switch it off. If the panel is hot, buzzing, or you are not sure which breaker it is, leave it alone and call. We will walk you through it on the phone if needed.
How fast can someone get here?
During business hours, we can typically be anywhere in the South Denver metro within 2 hours.
The power company says the outage is on my side. Now what?
That means the fault is past the meter, so it is the panel, the main, or a circuit. That is exactly what we handle. Call and we will work to the timeline you are dealing with.
Is a service call the same as an emergency call?
Not quite. A service call is for something that can wait for a normal appointment, a switch that does not work, a fixture to hang. An emergency call is for something actively unsafe right now. If you are not sure which one you have, call and describe it, we will tell you honestly which it is.
What if the emergency turns out to be bigger than expected?
We stop and tell you before doing anything beyond the original scope. If your panel or wiring needs more than a repair, you get that news, and a separate written price, before we touch it.
