Electrician in Littleton, CO
Littleton covers more electrical ground than almost anywhere else we serve, because the housing runs from pre-1960 to brand new. Historic downtown and the older established streets are condition work: original panels, ungrounded circuits, cloth-insulated conductors and occasionally knob-and-tube, where an inspection is the sensible first step before anyone quotes an upgrade. The big 1970s and 80s neighborhoods in between are where most of our Littleton panel work happens, because those original services are now decades past the load they were designed around. Newer development south and west is straightforward capacity work, mostly EV chargers and basement circuits. One thing genuinely worth checking before anything else: a Littleton mailing address does not guarantee you are inside city limits, and the area touches three counties, so the permitting office depends on your actual parcel rather than your mail.

Electrical services we provide in Littleton
What Littleton homes are like electrically
Littleton spans a wide range. Historic downtown and the older established neighborhoods carry pre-1960 homes where original panels, ungrounded circuits and occasionally knob-and-tube still turn up, and those are inspection and rewiring jobs. The large 1970s and 80s neighborhoods in between are the sweet spot for panel upgrades, since original services are now well past the point where they comfortably carry modern loads. Newer development to the south and west is mostly capacity work, EV chargers and basement circuits.

Permits and inspections in Littleton
City of Littleton, or the county for addresses outside city limits
Addresses inside Littleton city limits permit through the City of Littleton. A Littleton mailing address does not always mean you are inside city limits, though, since the area spans Arapahoe, Jefferson and Douglas counties, and unincorporated addresses go through the relevant county instead. We confirm your parcel first. Service and panel replacements, rewiring, EV chargers and generators are all permitted and inspected work.
Permit rules and fees change. We confirm current requirements with the jurisdiction before every permitted job. See our permit guides.

Xcel EnergyVerify your address
Littleton is predominantly Xcel Energy territory. Because the city touches Arapahoe, Jefferson and Douglas counties, confirm both your utility and your permitting jurisdiction rather than assuming from the mailing address.

“We did not have power coming through a circuit in our garage. When I called on a Friday morning, I fully expected we would have to wait until after the weekend for an electrician to come out. But Jud was able to come diagnose the issue within just a few hours! I was very impressed, and so happy that he was also able to fix the problem very quickly. Jud was very professional, explained everything so well, and is very trustworthy.”Read the full review

“I chose AllSafe Electric because their project proposal was the most detailed and comprehensive of those I received. Once the project began, I was thoroughly impressed by their expertise, workmanship, and attention to detail. An excellent experience. Most highly recommended.”

“We had a great experience with Allsafe Electric. At the initial consult, we discussed the work we wanted done, and Jud expertly explained the options for how he could get it done clean and cost effective. He didn't try to push or upsell anything. His estimate was clear and fair, and he was flexible when we asked to reschedule the date of work. Once scheduled he showed up right on time and did clean, quality work. The work included relocating our EV charger hookup, adding a new outlet, installation of both an interior and exterior ceiling fan box, a new ethernet cable plug, and a new outlet for an induction cooktop. Professional, communicative, and easy to work with. We'd absolutely use Allsafe again and recommend Jud to anyone in the Parker area.”Read the full review

“Over the past couple years we have been stumbling through the repairs of construction defects. Many of those defects involved electrical. Along with new defects, we still have some old electrical that was not made up to date by the previous subcontractor. Judd and the AllSafe crew have helped navigate and make repairs as we find them. It’s been such a relief to have knowledgeable electricians help keep our family safe and regain some of our creature comforts. We appreciate knowing someone around we can count on for help. Thank you for your patients and empathy for us during all this. We really appreciates good people. Thank you. The Black Family”Read the full review

“All Safe is a fantastic electrician company. They are great communicators as to when they will arrive and work in a clean orderly fashion. They installed new lighting fixtures, replaced a broken GFI, replaced switches, repaired an outlet. They did a great job I highly recommend them.”

“Judd was great. I called for an estimate, they came right out, game a good price, i hired them, they showed up right away, did a great job, took care of my gear and my dogs, and pleasure to work with. Allsafe installed a new 20-amp line for my stereo and installed a whole house surge protector and of course had to fix some issues with my breaker panel because my house was built recently by a homebuilder that took some short cuts.”Read the full review

Questions from Littleton homeowners
Do you serve Littleton, given the drive?
Yes, it is on our service-area list. It is best booked as scheduled work, and we will usually group Littleton jobs into the same run. For a genuine emergency we will tell you honestly whether we can get there today or whether you are better served by someone closer.
Is my Littleton address in the city or the county?
Worth checking, because it decides who permits your job. A Littleton mailing address can still be unincorporated Arapahoe, Jefferson or Douglas County. We confirm the parcel before filing so the permit does not go to the wrong office.
My 1970s Littleton home keeps tripping breakers. Upgrade or repair?
Usually capacity rather than a fault, and that era is the most common panel upgrade we do here. A load calculation tells you whether a 200A heavy-up is genuinely needed or whether rebalancing circuits fixes it. We would rather sell you the smaller answer if it works.
Do older downtown Littleton homes still have knob-and-tube?
Some do, often partially abandoned rather than fully live. Any that is still energized, buried in insulation, or spliced into newer work needs attention, and insurers increasingly ask. We map what is actually live before recommending scope.
