Electrician in Parker, CO
Allsafe Electric is based in Parker, and has been since 2018. This is not a satellite territory for us, it is where the shop is, and where our team lives the same streets and the same seasons as the people who call us. We know which subdivisions were built to what panel size, which older neighborhoods still have a Federal Pacific panel or two waiting to be found, and which HOAs want outdoor lighting work done a certain way. Being based here also means no drive-time markup on your appointment window, and it means the person quoting your job has probably already been three streets over that same week.

Electrical services we provide in Parker
What Parker homes are like electrically
Parker grew fast between 1995 and 2015, so a large share of homes are 1990s–2000s builds now running 100A–150A service that was never meant to carry two EVs, a hot tub and central AC at once. The older Pinery and Ponderosa areas have 1970s–80s homes with aging panels. Some Federal Pacific and Zinsco, and the occasional aluminum branch circuit. Panel capacity, not damaged wiring, is the single most common reason we get called out to a Parker home for anything beyond a repair: the house was fine until a second EV or a hot tub got added to a panel that was already near its limit.

Permits and inspections in Parker
Town of Parker Building Division
Panel and service upgrades, new circuits, EV chargers, hot tubs and generators all require a permit and a rough and/or final inspection inside Parker town limits.
- 1
We confirm whether your address is inside Parker town limits or unincorporated Douglas County, since each permits through a different office.
- 2
We file the permit application with the correct authority and pull any required CORE Electric Cooperative disconnect and reconnect for service work.
- 3
We schedule and meet the inspector on site, so you do not have to take time off work to be there.
- 4
We verify current permit fees on parkerco.gov before scheduling non-urgent work, since they change periodically.
Permit rules and fees change. We confirm current requirements with the jurisdiction before every permitted job. See our permit guides.
Who powers your home in Parker
CORE Electric CooperativeVerify your address
Most of Parker is served by CORE Electric Cooperative (formerly IREA), not Xcel. This matters for rebates. Most "Colorado electrical rebate" articles assume Xcel and are wrong for Parker. Confirm your address on CORE's service map.
Neighborhoods we work in
1990s-2000s tract homes on 100-150A panels, common candidates for a capacity upgrade once an EV or hot tub gets added.
1970s-80s stock where Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels still turn up, along with the occasional aluminum branch circuit.

“We did not have power coming through a circuit in our garage. When I called on a Friday morning, I fully expected we would have to wait until after the weekend for an electrician to come out. But Jud was able to come diagnose the issue within just a few hours! I was very impressed, and so happy that he was also able to fix the problem very quickly. Jud was very professional, explained everything so well, and is very trustworthy.”Read the full review

“I chose AllSafe Electric because their project proposal was the most detailed and comprehensive of those I received. Once the project began, I was thoroughly impressed by their expertise, workmanship, and attention to detail. An excellent experience. Most highly recommended.”

“We had a great experience with Allsafe Electric. At the initial consult, we discussed the work we wanted done, and Jud expertly explained the options for how he could get it done clean and cost effective. He didn't try to push or upsell anything. His estimate was clear and fair, and he was flexible when we asked to reschedule the date of work. Once scheduled he showed up right on time and did clean, quality work. The work included relocating our EV charger hookup, adding a new outlet, installation of both an interior and exterior ceiling fan box, a new ethernet cable plug, and a new outlet for an induction cooktop. Professional, communicative, and easy to work with. We'd absolutely use Allsafe again and recommend Jud to anyone in the Parker area.”Read the full review

“Over the past couple years we have been stumbling through the repairs of construction defects. Many of those defects involved electrical. Along with new defects, we still have some old electrical that was not made up to date by the previous subcontractor. Judd and the AllSafe crew have helped navigate and make repairs as we find them. It’s been such a relief to have knowledgeable electricians help keep our family safe and regain some of our creature comforts. We appreciate knowing someone around we can count on for help. Thank you for your patients and empathy for us during all this. We really appreciates good people. Thank you. The Black Family”Read the full review

“All Safe is a fantastic electrician company. They are great communicators as to when they will arrive and work in a clean orderly fashion. They installed new lighting fixtures, replaced a broken GFI, replaced switches, repaired an outlet. They did a great job I highly recommend them.”

“Judd was great. I called for an estimate, they came right out, game a good price, i hired them, they showed up right away, did a great job, took care of my gear and my dogs, and pleasure to work with. Allsafe installed a new 20-amp line for my stereo and installed a whole house surge protector and of course had to fix some issues with my breaker panel because my house was built recently by a homebuilder that took some short cuts.”Read the full review

Questions from Parker homeowners
Who issues electrical permits in Parker?
The Town of Parker Building Division for addresses inside town limits. Properties in unincorporated Douglas County go through the county instead. We determine which applies to your address and handle the filing.
Is Parker on CORE or Xcel?
Most of Parker is CORE Electric Cooperative. That affects which rebate and time-of-use programs you qualify for, especially for EV chargers and heat pumps. We confirm your provider before quoting anything rebate-dependent.
My 1990s Parker home trips breakers when the AC and microwave run together. Is that a panel problem?
Often, yes. A lot of Parker homes from that era have 100A or 150A panels that are simply full. A load assessment tells you whether you need a heavy-up to 200A or just some circuit rebalancing.
Do you cover the Pinery and Pradera?
Yes. Both are a short drive. The Pinery's older homes see more panel and generator work; Pradera's custom homes and HOA design review come up on outdoor lighting and generator placement.
How is response time different in Parker versus your other service areas?
We are based here. During business hours, urgent calls in Parker are usually on site within two hours.
Do you handle both older and newer Parker homes?
Yes, and they tend to need different things. Newer subdivisions like Stonegate and Canterberry Crossing mostly need panel capacity work as families add EVs and hot tubs to a panel sized for less. Older Pinery-area homes more often need an outdated panel brand, Federal Pacific or Zinsco, replaced outright.
What license should I ask to see?
Master Electrician License ME.0601023 and Electrical Contractor License EC.0101068, both verifiable through the Colorado State Electrical Board's public license lookup. We are also BBB A+ accredited.
