Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics
A circuit that keeps tripping, lights that flicker, or an outlet that quit are all symptoms of something specific. It is usually a loose connection, an overloaded circuit, a failing breaker, or a fault buried in the wall. We charge a flat fee to find it, trace it to the real cause, and give you a fixed price to repair. Same-week appointments, and often within two hours if it is urgent.

Do any of these sound familiar?
Signs you need this
A breaker that trips again the moment you reset it
That is a hard short or a ground fault on the circuit. It is not a bad breaker until proven otherwise, and forcing it back on is not safe.
Lights that dim when the AC or microwave starts
Usually a loose neutral, an undersized circuit, or a connection failing at the panel. It gets worse over time, not better.
An outlet is dead but nothing tripped
Often a failed backstab connection upstream, or a tripped GFCI in another room. Easy to find, cheap to fix, and it will not fix itself.
Switches or outlets that are warm or crackle
Heat means resistance, and resistance in a connection means it is on its way to arcing.

How the job goes
- 1
You describe what is happening and when. Half the diagnosis is in the pattern.
- 2
We isolate the circuit, tests under load, and traces the fault to a specific device, connection, or run.
- 3
You get the cause in plain language and a fixed price to repair it.
- 4
We fix it and re-test the whole circuit, not just the one point.
Permits and inspection
Diagnostics and most repairs are maintenance work and do not require a permit. If tracing the fault reveals unsafe wiring that needs replacing at scale, that portion is permitted with the local authority. Confirm requirements with the Town of Parker or Douglas County.

“We did not have power coming through a circuit in our garage. When I called on a Friday morning, I fully expected we would have to wait until after the weekend for an electrician to come out. But Jud was able to come diagnose the issue within just a few hours! I was very impressed, and so happy that he was also able to fix the problem very quickly. Jud was very professional, explained everything so well, and is very trustworthy.”Read the full review

“Judd was great. I called for an estimate, they came right out, game a good price, i hired them, they showed up right away, did a great job, took care of my gear and my dogs, and pleasure to work with. Allsafe installed a new 20-amp line for my stereo and installed a whole house surge protector and of course had to fix some issues with my breaker panel because my house was built recently by a homebuilder that took some short cuts.”Read the full review

“We originally called Allsafe to look at adding some new lighting to our dining room and fixing some lighting issues in our bathrooms. Judd from Allsafe informed us there were concerns about our electrical service panel but could do the repairs we asked. We put the project on hold due to some urgent medical issues. About 2 months later we had an outlet in the kitchen arc and burn out. Our electrical service panel breakers didn’t trip appropriately. We called Judd back out to assess the situation. He was very thorough in evaluating what was going on with our electrical system. He found multiple issues with our ancient service panel and improper grounding throughout the house. Judd and his team replaced our electrical service panel, multiple outlets, installed new bathroom light fixtures, and installed new recessed lighting in our dining area. They found and fixed a few other minor issues along the way at no additional cost. Working with Allsafe was awesome! All the work they did looks great and we’re very happy we chose them to upgrade our electrical system.”Read the full review

“Judson Cushing and the AllSafe Electric team continue to impress. Judson recently installed an outlet above my pool table along with a wall switch for a new pool table light. The placement was thoughtful, the install was clean, and the finished product looks like it was always meant to be there. Functionally perfect and aesthetically spot-on. This is at least the third project AllSafe Electirc has completed for me (which includes installing an auxiliary panel, running new circuits, and troubleshooting problems). As always, Judson and Shawn were very responsive, on time, did a fantastic job in short order. They clearly take pride in their work. It is hard to find contractors who combine technical skill with real customer focus, but AllSafe Electric does. I couldn’t be happier. Judson and Allsafe Electric have absolutely and repeatedly earned my business and recognition.”Read the full review

“I highly recommend Allsafe Electric! Jud especially is awesome and will make sure you are completely happy with their work. From the free estimate to the actual project (we had our electrical panel updated so we could get more space to add circuits for a basement renovation project), we had an excellent experience. We had three different estimates done, and Allsafe came back with the best price and the most safety features. I liked that Jud came out to do the estimate AND was the main person to come do the actual work. He responds back quickly to any questions you have and has great customer service. We're going to have them add the new circuits in our basement as well. You'll be happy going with Allsafe for your electrical needs!”Read the full review

“We had a great experience with Allsafe Electric. At the initial consult, we discussed the work we wanted done, and Jud expertly explained the options for how he could get it done clean and cost effective. He didn't try to push or upsell anything. His estimate was clear and fair, and he was flexible when we asked to reschedule the date of work. Once scheduled he showed up right on time and did clean, quality work. The work included relocating our EV charger hookup, adding a new outlet, installation of both an interior and exterior ceiling fan box, a new ethernet cable plug, and a new outlet for an induction cooktop. Professional, communicative, and easy to work with. We'd absolutely use Allsafe again and recommend Jud to anyone in the Parker area.”Read the full review

Common questions
Why not just replace the breaker?
A breaker that trips is usually doing its job, because something on the circuit is faulting. Swapping the breaker without finding the fault removes the safety device and leaves the hazard in place.
Can you tell me the cost over the phone?
We can tell you the diagnostic fee up front. Because repair costs depend on what we find, we cannot give you an accurate repair price until we have diagnosed the issue. Once we do, you will receive the price in writing and approve it before any repair work begins.
My lights flicker all over the house. Is that dangerous?
Whole-house flicker points at the main service connection or the panel itself, which is the more serious category. Get it looked at soon rather than waiting.
Do you fix it on the same visit?
Most of the time, yes. If a part has to be sourced we make the area safe, quote the return visit, and come back.
